Citely ("we", "us") provides AI visibility checks for small businesses. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

• Business details you submit (name, website URL, category, location)
• Email address when you save a report or create an account
• Technical logs (IP address for free-tier rate limiting, browser type)
• Payment metadata processed by Stripe (we do not store card numbers)

How we use it

• Run multi-engine visibility checks and generate fix packs
• Prevent abuse of free checks
• Send re-check reminders you opt into
• Provide customer support and improve product quality

Third parties

Checks call third-party AI and search APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Perplexity, SerpApi). Those providers process the prompts we send (business name, category, location, and related research queries). Billing is handled by Stripe.

Data retention

Check results and raw engine responses are stored so you can revisit reports and so we can improve mention detection. You may request deletion of your account data by emailing privacy@citely.app.
